God's Eternal Plan For You
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He created Adam and Eve in His own image. He blessed them and gave them dominion over the earth and over every living thing. God saw all that He had made and behold, it was very good!
But Satan deceived Eve. She and Adam sinned by disobeying God. They became mortal and suffered spiritual death. Since God had given them dominion, His perfect creation was also corrupted. Since then, every human being is born into a fallen race, that inhabits a fallen world, full of death, sickness, and evil.
All have sinned and continue to fall short of the glory of God. The proof is that all die a physical death. Even while physically alive, we are spiritually dead because of our sins. Therefore, we cannot make ourselves right with God.
Still, God loves us and wants to have fellowship with us, but His holiness cannot tolerate sin. God is merciful but His justice demands that sin be punished. God does not want anyone to go to hell. He desires all to come to repentance and live eternally in heaven with Him. But how can God forgive us and remove our sin without violating His holiness or compromising His justice?
Thank God for Jesus! God loves us so much that He sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day, proving that His death satisfied the righteous requirements of God's justice. This is the Gospel and it is the power of God to salvation for all who believe.

Our Mission
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Him. Therefore, our mission at Holiday Island Community Church is to call all to faith in Christ through the Gospel, baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and accept their public confession of Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

What's Next?
Surrendering your life and your will to Jesus Christ at the cross is not the end. It is the beginning! HICC has Bible Studies for everyone. On the last Sunday of each month at 4:30PM, we have "Ask Anything Sunday" where people can bring their Bible questions and we let the Lord answer from Scripture.
Come and join us on the greatest adventure a human being can experience - getting to know the Creator of the universe through the Bible which is the very word of God.
